These sisters joined us from the Apple Valley shelter in September. Opal will be spayed in late November. Olive was diagnosed with ventricular septal defect – a hole between her ventricles. She is currently on three medications to help her heart and blood flow, and we will reassess her situation next spring with a follow-up echocardiogram. Both girls are on hold for now.
