Sophie is a newer cat in the lounge and she is still figuring out that she is safe with us. When she allows us to pet her she leans in and flops over – she really loves being pet! She still doesn’t let us pick her up but with time that will come. In her forever home we are sure she will be a loving companion. She enjoys playing with toys and gets along fine with the other cats. Her newest friend at the lounge is Spice. We think she’d be fine with another cat in her home but could be an only cat as well. She has youthful energy and a very beautiful coat!
Note: Sophie is not yet available to go home as she is not yet willing to be picked up. Volunteers are working with her daily and we know her breakthrough in trust is coming! She adores being petted and just needs time to know that being handled is OK.
