It looks like we will need to raise the prices slightly for admission to the lounge. We’ve kept the prices the same for several years. Over that time rent, Internet, security, and utilities have all gone up. The latest is an unexpected increase in the common area maintenance fee that we pay along with our rent. In April that will increase by about $135 per month, along with a modest increase in rent of about $80 per month in May. To help offset those costs, visits will be going up in price beginning Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The new admission fees will be $9 for 30 minutes, $12 for 45 minutes, and $15 for 60 minutes. We will no longer offer discounted fees on Wednesdays. We anticipate that the lounge will cost roughly $116 per day to maintain, not including food, litter, supplies, or vet bills. Entrance fees, purchases in our lobby, and donations have always been our main sources of income and we hope visitors will still be generous!
